DESCRIPTION:【Important Notice】 \n\nDue to organizational difficulties resulting from the situation concerning the Coronavirus\, the DENIM IX hosted by J-PARC is postponed by 1 year. New date of DENIM IX will be announced later. \n\n \n\n　\n　\n　\n　\n	The 9th annual Design and Engineering of Neutron Instruments Meeting(DENIM IX) \n\n　\n　\n　\n\n  \nDate\n\nSeptember 14th (Mon) to 17th (Thu)\, 2020\n\n  \nVenue\n\nTokai-mura industry and information plaze “iVill”\n\n（3-1-1 Funaishikawa Eki Higashi\, Tokai\, Nakagun\, Ibaraki 319-1118） \n  \nScope\n\nWe are pleased to announce that the 9th annual Design and Engineering of Neutron Instruments Meeting (DENIM IX) will be hosted by J-PARC (Japan Proton Accelerator Research Complex) Center from September 14th to 17th\, 2020\, in Tokai\, Ibaraki\, Japan\, with a welcome reception at Mito the evening of September 14th. The meeting will include plenary sessions\, technical talks\, a poster session\, a banquet\, and a tour of J-PARC.　Furthermore\, the meeting will provide some satellite events including a joint DENIM-Sample Environment workshop on Friday\, 11th September\, RIKEN tour in Saitama on Sunday\, 13th September and 3rd annual ISNIE Summer School on Monday\, 14th September.\n　\nDENIM is the world’s largest and most important conference about Neutron Instrument Engineering. DENIM is held under the patronage of the International Society of Neutron Instrument Engineers (ISNIE). The ISNIE currently has close to 200 members from 32 different Institutes and Universities\, 20 countries\, and 16 corporations. DENIM has been previously held at neutron scattering facilities in England\, the U.S.\, Germany\, Hungary\, Sweden\, Australia\, and Switzerland. DENIM IX is being organized by J-PARC Center and will mark the first time DENIM has been held in Asia.
