SUMMARY:J-PARC Workshop 2024， Deuterium Science Entering an Advanced Phase
DESCRIPTION:開催趣旨（Objective of the meeting）\n重水素で標識した化合物は、中性子散乱法やNMR法などの同位体と敏感に相互作用する分析法や、医薬品､液晶材料、有機EL､光ファイバーなどの機能性亢進を目的として広く利用されている。中性子散乱研究においては、試料の散乱コントラスト制御や水素の中性子非干渉性散乱バックグラウンドを低減するために重水素標識技術が活用されている。本ワークショップでは、重水素標識機材料を用いた最先端的･先駆的な研究成果について発表･討論し、J-PARC MLFにおける中性子科学研究のための重水素ラベル化技術の成長戦略についても集中して議論することで、J-PARC MLFを始めとした国内外の重水素標識分子が先導する中性子科学研究の更なる活性化を図ります。 \n開催日時（Date and time）\n2024年10月18日（金）9:00～18:00（October 18th\, 2024　9:00～18:00 ） \n開催場所（Venue）\n茨城大学水戸キャンパス　ライブラリーホール\n〒310-8512 茨城県水戸市文京２丁目１−１ \nプログラム（予定）（Program）：Program and Abstract\n\n\n\n8:30-\nReception\n\n\n9:00-9:10\nOpening & Introduction of J-PARC MLF\nT. SUMMARY:J-PARC Workshop 2024\, Deuterium Science Entering an Advanced Phase
DESCRIPTION:Objective of the meeting\nDeuterium-labeled compounds are widely used in isotope-sensitive analytical methods such as neutron scattering and NMR\, and to enhance the functionality of pharmaceuticals\, liquid crystal materials\, organic ELs\, and optical fibers. In neutron scattering studies\, deuterium labeling is an important technique for controlling the scattering contrast and/or reduce the neutron incoherent scattering background of hydrogen. In this workshop\, we will present and discuss cutting-edge and pioneering research results using deuterium-labeled functional structural materials\, and also focus on the growth strategy of deuterium labeling technology for neutron science research at J-PARC Center.
